A storage reservoir is planned for construction on Rinderberg in the St. Stephan / Zweisimmen BE ski area. As part of the geotechnical assessment, exploratory boreholes were drilled.

At five locations, the boreholes were drilled to a depth of 6 meters. Piezometer and inclinometer tubes were installed to monitor the groundwater level and detect any potential ground movements.

The topographical conditions were highly challenging. To ensure the safety of Urs and Marek, the drilling rig operated in the steep terrain with the assistance of a winch.
